  I have no idea what one reviewer was talking about calling people rude at this facility. My wife and I recently moved into the area from Orlando, have found everyone to be very helpful, and they make things simple and convenient to get rid of various materials. We have been to the facility 7 or 8 times over the past month. I rate 5 stars!!!!!

  THIS IS NOT A REAL LANDFILL!!!!!! No hydraulic dump trailers allowed. Hand unload only. Lake county residents only. I am very disappointed in our lake county government for letting this facility to operate like this. When you don't let people use the landfills the trash ends up in the woods or side of the road.

  This is not a landfill or a dump anymore, but rather just a transfer station now. The ladies at the scale are great and friendly, but whoever is managing it is not in favor of the county taxpayers. It cost me $10 to drop of a toilet, I pay about $8k a year in property taxes, auto taxes and tangible taxes, and I can't even drop off a toilet at the transfer station for free. It is just another example of a government run facility that is abusing the tax system and the Lake County residents.

  Horrible. Don't want to do their jobs. Don't want to pick up your trash. Don't want to let you drop it off. If they don't. And because it's a Monopoly. You can't go to a competitor. Should be ashamed of themselves.
